Dede Mabiaku, Obesere and Klint D Drunk talk tough on One Night Stand






With all the hype and reviews that have been generated by the
announcement of another edition of the KOGA One Night Stand, fans will
be more than happy to know that they are going to get value for their
money as the artistes billed to perform have promised nothing but
their best.

KOGA One Night Stand which is set to take place on October 7, 2011 at
the prestigious KOGA events centre, Oregun, Lagos. This edition of
KOGA One Night Stand will feature the protégé of late Afro Beat king
FELA, Dede Mabiaku who will be performing on stage alongside top rated
Fuji singer and artiste, Abass Akande Obesere, while the guests would
also be entertained with hilarious jokes from talented comedian Klint
D Drunk.

When asked about his upcoming appearance on KOGA One Night Stand, Afro
Beat musician Dede Mabiaku said, ‘I will definitely be on stage live
to show my fans and the audience that I’m always there to entertain
and thrill them, and I will be there to dish out my best’.

Also comedian, Klint D Drunk has promised to keep the audience
entertained and the venue electrified, according to him, ‘this will be
a one of a kind event which will remain indelible in the heart of
those in attendance’.

On his part, Fuji King Abass Akande Obesere stated that, ‘I will
definitely be at this edition to make up for my absence at the last
edition of KOGA One Night Stand, and I’m very much looking forward to
giving out my best as a way of apologizing to my fans who were
disappointed by my absence last time. Again, since I am always going
out of the country, this will serve as a great opportunity to
celebrate the independence of Nigeria with Nigerians’.

KOGA Entertainment, the organizers and brain behind KOGA One Night

This event which promises to be more fun filled this time around would

When asked what the reason was for organizing KOGA One Night Stand is,
Elsie Oluku of KOGA said, ‘the positive feedback that we have gotten
from the previous edition of KOGA One Night Stand and the requests by
people for more is one reason why we are doing this, besides everyone
needs a dose of entertainment in their life and we are committed to
providing entertainment in large doses’.

2Face, Eldee, Sir Shina Peters, MI, Obesere to Headline TOP 10 MIC … 5 more stars to make the list






Fun lovers can now excitedly countdown to the end of the year, as KOGA Entertainment is set to host one of the biggest shows of the year KOGA Entertainment. The show which is billed for December 23, 2011 at TBS Lagos will be graced by top ten artistes that cut across all genres of music. “Our aim is to do a show that is ‘truly Nigerian’. It is not Hip Hop; it is not Afro beat, Fuji, Dancehall or Apala. It will be everything Nigerian”. A statement from the concert PR agency Bigsam Media reads.

Speaking on the preparation of the entertainment company, Elsie Oluko, Head of Operations, says “KOGA is providing a platform that will unite the young and the old. In time past we used to have the Lekki Sun Splash which more than one million people used to look forward to yearly, but now we have no such concerts anymore. What we are trying to do is bring back the memories of time past, and create new ones. Our selection of artistes shows that we are fair to all ages and not settling for anything less than the best”.

Meanwhile five out of the 10 entertainers that are expected to perform on that night have been announced. In a statement by Bigsam Media, iconic Nigerian superstar 2face Idibia will lead the new generation singers such as M.I and Eldee to TBS on the 23rd of December 2011, while tested veterans will include Afro Juju creator Sir Shina Peters and Paramount King of Fuji, Abass Akande Obesere representing the Juju and Fuji genre respectively.



KOGA in the mean time is keeping the identities of the remaining five entertainers to its chest as it plans for it to be a joker. “The last five names to make the number of entertainers 10 will be our joker. It will show that we are not joking, we mean business” Elsie concluded
