All star turnouts recorded as Two Brides and a Baby premiered
…hits the big screen November 25
…audience scores movie high
Nobody expected the mammoth crowd that thronged the Genesis De Luxe cinemas at The Palms, as the most anticipated movie, Two Brides and a Baby premiered in style.
Despite the rush hour traffic usually associated with Lekki, the cinema hall was filled to capacity as celebrities, fans and associates defied the notable odds in a bid to make the movie premiere.
Unlike most premieres that start late, Two Brides and a Baby started early with many super stars gracing the red carpet as early as 6pm. With the kind of attendance recorded, one would have mistaken the premiere for the birthday bash of someone in the presidency.
The scores of celebrities that trooped in for the premiere include Uche Jombo, Haekeem Kazeem, Sasha P, Stephanie Okereke, Omoni Oboli, Rita Dominic, Elvis Chuks, ace humorist, Alibaba and wife, Oge Okoye, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Lonzo Nsekwe, among others.
There were no dull moments as they stepped on the red carpet and the paparazzis went into some kind of frenzy while trying to catch glimpses of their favorite stars. The stars didn’t disappoint their teeming fans as they came in different attires and colors and they were indeed a sight to behold as they walked to and fro the red carpet gracefully and in an alluring manner.
According to many industry pundits, they rated the movie very high as the performance of the entire cast was an impressive one while imploring the public to go see it when it hits the big screen on November 25.
The movie centers on the story of Bankole (O.C Ukeje) and Keche (Chelsea Eze), 24 hrs to their wedding, Kole’s ex- girlfriend Ama(Stella Damasus) shows up with plenty of drama. 24 hrs to the wedding now began to look like 24 days as many melodramatic issues ensued as the wedding was practically on ‘’hold’’.
It preaches the gospel of total honesty in relationships and discourages betrayal. It is indeed a very romantic comedy that was crafted to suit the contemporary Nigerian relationship.
Other acts in the movie include Kalu Ikeagwu Keira Hewatch, Okey Uzoeshi and others.
